What does God think about money? This message tackled one of the most misunderstood topics in the church -- the relationship between faith and finances. The truth is, poverty does not equal piety, and wealth is not something to fear. God owns it all (Psalm 50:10-11), and he desires his people to have a full supply so his kingdom can advance. We also looked at whether Jesus lived in poverty -- and the answer may surprise you. Jesus was not destitute. He was on a mission. The only thing we take to heaven is people. That is what this is all about -- seeking his kingdom first (Matthew 6:33) and trusting him with the rest.
