In this message, Pastor Sean challenged us to set aside religious assumptions and let the Bible speak for itself on the subject of giving and receiving. From the wise men presenting treasures of gold, frankincense, and myrrh, to the women who funded Jesus' ministry out of their own wealth, to the seamless tunic the Roman soldiers refused to tear because it was too valuable -- the evidence is clear. Jesus did not live in poverty. And at the cross, he took on our poverty, our sin, and our curse so that we could walk in his blessing. God is not the God of just enough. He is more than enough.
