Where is your heart when it comes to the things God has blessed you with? In this message, we explored the story of the rich young ruler in Luke 18 and uncovered a truth that cuts straight to the core: God is not just after your obedience -- He is after your heart. The rich young ruler walked away sorrowful because he loved his wealth more than his Savior. Jesus did not chase him down with promises of a harvest. He let the condition of the man's heart speak for itself. That same question stands before each of us today. When our hearts are right before God, the blessing can flow freely. As Jesus promised in Luke 18, those who surrender for the sake of the kingdom will receive many times more in this life and in the life to come.
