Whether we would like to admit it or not we all have areas of our life where we have a wrong understanding. Our minds must be transformed but in order for that to happen, we must be pliable in the potter’s hands. In this series, we are going to look at what the Scripture teaches about having a teachable or humble heart.
Teachable: Is a person who is capable of being taught. It is a person who apt and willing to learn.
The Christian that is un-teachable has declared that they are walking in the fullness of the stature of Christ.
This series is designed to get us searching our hearts and minds for areas where we need to repent. In addition, when this takes place and we allow correction to come and respond to that correction with obedience we will see our relationship and faith with and in the Lord go to another level.
Part 6 – Being teachable involves being correctable. The wonderful thing about being correctable is that wisdom and understanding in our lives increases. With greater wisdom and understanding comes greater victory. Today we will look at a man who was not teachable or correctable, king Saul. We will see the consequences of being unrepentant and unteachable. The Lord gave us these examples so that we do not have to repeat their mistakes. Spiritual maturity in the life of every believer should be of high priority.
