Strong In Faith – Part 2
In these messages, we want to focus on the operation of strong faith more than on what was received by Abraham and Sarah.
When we understand how faith operates we can receive everything grace provided.
Rom 4:20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. NKJV
Part 2 – Abraham put his hope or expectation in God when there was no hope in the natural for the promise of God to come to pass. This is an important ingredient to strong faith in the life of a believer. Where we put our expectations (hope) will keep our faith strong or cause it to weaken.
Faith is not a rational way of living, neither is it a fantasy way of living. Living by faith is allowing the Word of God to inspire you to great things and then allowing the Holy Spirit to direct you down paths that lead to that place.
It pleases our God to stand in the face of completely contrary circumstances to His promises and declare that the Word of the Lord is coming to pass anyway.
