The Scriptures tell us that we are a 3 part being (1 Thess. 5:23).  We are a spirit, we possess a soul, and we live in a body.  The soul has been described as the mind, the will, and the emotions.  In this series, we focus on the soul and specifically our emotions.  Emotions have been described as the spice of life.  They do not add substance to life but flavor it.  Just like spice, emotions will not sustain life, but add flavor to life’s experiences.  In this series, we want to give a balanced Biblical perspective to the role of emotions in our life.

Part 6 – In this message we discuss emotions to accept and emotions to reject.  There are two forces that influence us in this life, God and the devil and his demons.  Emotions were given to us by God but they are not our Gods.  The Scriptures are clear on how we are to discern what is from God and what is from the enemy.  The containers of our emotions are designed to be filled with the Word and Spirit of God.
