Hear His Voice – Part 1
Have you noticed though that we have a lot of voices in our lives that are competing with the voice of our Shepherd? In this series we are going to discuss two phrases found in John chapter 10. We are going to look at the “voice of our shepherd” and the “voice of strangers.” As we learn to discern the Fathers voice from the strangers voice, we will properly prune our lives of overgrowth and become trees with leaves that do not wither and that bear fruit in every season of life.

Part 1 – In the first message in this series, Pastor Sean lays the groundwork for our discussion on following the voice of our Shepherd. Jesus declares in John 5:19 and in John 12:49, 50 that He only did and said what He saw the Father do and heard the Father say. As believers we are called to do the same, but many times our lives are like an overgrown tree. When a tree is overgrown the water and nutrients is divided up to the point that significant fruitfulness is not possible. God desires to prune our lives until we are living in maximum fruitfulness.
