A Study In Biblical Prayer - Part 1

Part 1 - What if the key to answered prayer isn't praying longer, but praying smarter? This week we dove into the Seven Steps to Answered Prayer, starting with a game-changing truth: your prayer life must be built on God's Word. Faith begins where the will of God is known, and God's Word IS God's will. When you pray according to Scripture, you're not hoping God might answer—you're standing on promises He's already made. Here's the challenge: Be specific. Find the scriptures that promise what you need. Meditate on them day and night (Joshua 1:8). Then ask the Father in Jesus' name, because Jesus said, "Ask and you shall receive, that your joy may be FULL" (John 16:23-24). God wants your joy full—not just happy, but overflowing with His strength. Stop letting your mind run wild with worry. Grab the Sword of the Spirit and fight the good fight of faith. Your experience doesn't form your doctrine—God's Word does. When pressure comes, speak the Word until clarity breaks through.
