A Study In Biblical Prayer - Part 8
When was the last time you simply sat in God's presence—not asking for anything, just worshiping Him? In Acts 13, believers gathered to minister TO the Lord, not just petition Him. They fasted, worshiped, and waited. And in that place of surrender, the Holy Spirit spoke and launched a movement that changed the world. We've become so accustomed to drive-through Christianity—quick prayers, short services, instant answers. But God won't adjust to our 30-second culture. He's calling us deeper. What if we spent less time asking and more time adoring? What if we turned off the noise and just said, "Jesus"? In His presence, every need is met, every burden lifts, and every devil flees. Ministry to the Lord isn't about your vocal ability or performance. It's about your heart laid bare before Him. This week, take time to just wait on Him. Sing to Him. Honor Him. Watch what happens when you do.
