A Study In Biblical Prayer - Part 3

Sep 1, 2016    Pastor Sean McFarlane

What if the greatest breakthroughs in your life are waiting on the other side of thanksgiving? This powerful message on prayer challenges us to shift from complaint to praise, from fear to faith. When Abraham was 100 years old with a promise that seemed impossible, he didn't waver. Instead, he was "strengthened in faith, giving glory to God" (Romans 4:20). He called himself "father of many nations" before he ever saw the promise fulfilled. Your mind is a battlefield, but you control what you think. The enemy wants you to rehearse your problems, but God calls you to meditate on His promises. When chaos hits, will you choose the Prince of Peace or give in to worry? Every situation is an opportunity to say "Glory to God" and watch Him make a way where there seems to be no way. Stop asking God for the same thing over and over in unbelief. Remind Him of His promises, thank Him in advance, and watch faith rise in your heart. It's never too late for God to move in your life.
