Rooted - Part 3

Growth is rarely comfortable, but it is always purposeful. God's correction is not punishment — it is proof of His love. As Hebrews 12:6 tells us, the Lord disciplines those He loves, and that discipline yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness in those who are trained by it. 2 Peter 1:5-10 gives us a clear roadmap: add to your faith virtue, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love. These qualities do not develop automatically — they require diligence, eagerness, and a willingness to be corrected and directed by God. You carry the divine nature of Christ within you. The goal is to express it more and more in every area of life — your words, your home, your relationships, your finances. It is not an excuse to stay the way you are. It is an invitation to grow.
