The Language of Faith – Part 8

The Language of Faith

The Scripture tells us that we are to, “walk by faith and not by sight,” that we are “saved by grace through faith.”  Faith is something very important in our day-to-day Christian lives.  In this series we are going to look at what faith is and specifically what the language of faith is from the Scriptures.  We have the power of life and death in our tongues, and we must learn how to use that power as the Lord desires pleasing Him with our faith.

Part 8 – The tongue and words are powerful; they are like a sword.  They can stab, cut, maim, and hurt.  This truth can be applied two ways, properly and improperly.  We do not curse people, but we do curse the enemy.  We use our tongue to stab, cut, maim, and hurt the enemy not people.  Speaking life in our lives and in the lives of others is speaking the truth in love.  In this message you will be challenged to be more aware of what you are speaking and to adjust it to truth.
