| Strong In Faith – Part 3

]In these messages, we want to focus on the operation of strong faith more than on what was received by Abraham and Sarah.

When we understand how faith operates we can receive everything grace provided.

Rom 4:20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. NKJV

Part 3 – Rom 4:19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. NKJV

In this verse, we see a key to strong faith.  In order to have and maintain strong faith, there must be a focus on the promise and the promiser rather than the problem.  Abraham’s faith was strong because he focused on God.  Our faith can be just as strong when we do the same.

Go on believing.  How many times prayer fails to get an answer because of failure to continue believing until what has been asked is received (seen).  Dakes Commentary
