2 Cor 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. NKJV
I heard a statement several years ago in Bible college, “To be forewarned is to be forearmed.” I have found this statement to be true. Having a healthy understanding (not fear-motivated or fear-based) of our enemy is a must if we are going to live the victorious life that Jesus died for us to have. In this series, we will talk about who Satan is but mostly we will end up focusing on how he tries to operate in our day-to-day lives.
Part 1 – There are two significant truths that pastor Sean addresses in this message. The first is how Satan came to be. Satan took what the Lord had made him and given him and perverted it. The second truth we look at is how the enemy got influence and position on the earth.
