Righteousness – Pastor Josh Meeks
As we continued our study into righteousness, we must stay in a righteous conscience through faith. The enemy is more than willing to help us back into bondage. This is why we must allow the Word to tell us what truth is and not the enemy or our feelings. When we were born again, we received His gift of righteousness and are now seated beside God the Father in Jesus Christ. We believed in our heart and confessed with our mouth that He is Lord, and we are saved. We can not just lose our righteousness or the position we now have in Jesus Christ. God the Father received the full payment of sin through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a complete work, and it is finished. God the Father is completely satisfied in Jesus’ payment and now He is at peace with us.
