Acts 3:19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, NKJV

Romans 2:4 Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? NKJV

In this series on Sunday mornings, we are diving in to the subject of repentance.  Many people have different ideas about what repentance is but we are going to look to the Scriptures and allow the Word of God to define it for us.

We will cover several things concerning repentance in this series such as:

What repentance is and what repentance is not?

Why is repentance needed?

How do I repent?

What happens when I repent?

Part 4 – As we continue in our series on repentance this morning we begin to look at Godly sorrow.  Truth penetrates like a sword and is painful which can cause Godly sorrow.  This sorrow is a good thing because it leads us to repentance.  Repentance toward God is a good thing because it opens the door to the resurrection graces of Christ manifesting in our lives on a greater and greater level.
