| Holy Spirit – Part 7

Jesus promised us before He left the earth that He would send us help.  

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever — 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. NKJV

We have another helper as believers.  The word another means “another of the same sort,” we see here that Jesus was promising help that would be to us like He was to the disciples.  Pentecost was just the beginning as we will discover in this series.

Part 7 – Jesus promised us another comforter, the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit invaded the earth on the day of Pentecost and has been filling and clothing those with power who will receive Him to be witnesses in all their world ever since.  As you listen to the Scriptures’ faith will come, we encourage everyone to pray and receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.  At the end of the message Pastor, Sean will lead you in a prayer to receive.
