Before The Foundation – The Parable Of The Sower Part 5

The Bible contains truths that bend our natural mind.  It can frustrate the natural mind to think about the fact that Jesus was apart of the creation, in the beginning, He existed in eternity before He ever came to the earth as a man.  God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Spirit have no beginning, they have always been and always will be.  Jesus is the exact expression of God in the earth, there is no greater example.  When Jesus walked the earth He would often teach people in parables, there is a passage of Scripture found in Matthew 13:34, 35 that says, “All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying:”  “I will open My mouth in parables: I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world.”  In this series, we are going to take a look at some of the parables of Jesus in order to discover the Truth that has existed before the world was formed.  We do not need to wonder about our lives and why we exist and question what is the meaning of it all.  As we understand our Creator and Savior, He then reveals to us our design and purpose.  All understanding about creation concerning its gifting and purpose was in place before any of it was manifested, so let’s hear from Creator and experience great light!

Part 5 – What does it mean to be good ground.  People who are good ground have some definite habits or characteristics that set them apart from the world and from most of the church.

  1. People who are good ground are teachable, correctable and repentant.

  2. People who are good ground attend church regularly, serve and fellowship with believers.

  3. People who are good ground fellowship daily with the Lord in the Word of God and prayer.

These are not all the characteristics of good ground but some key points to strength.  God desires to be acknowledged in every decision we have before us.  He will never lead us astray.  When we follow His lead we remain in a place of health spiritually, ready for any storm that comes our way.
