The Lord has left nothing to chance. In this message you will see how God put hope (a confident expectation of good) in everything that He does for mankind. Tonight, we look at the shepherds who were in their field when the angel appeared to them to announce that Jesus was born. These were no random shepherds; they were the shepherds of Migdal Eder under rabbinical care who were raising spotless lambs which were used for sacrifices in the temple. Just this event alone in the birth of Jesus has so many wonderful pictures of redemption.
