Repentance - Part 1

What does it really mean to repent? It is not just feeling sorry— it is a complete change of mind, direction, and life. Acts 3:19 calls us to repent and be converted, and Romans 2:4 reminds us that it is the goodness of God that leads us there. True repentance is not driven by emotion. It is a solid, intellectual decision to turn away from what is displeasing to God and walk toward who we truly are in Christ. The Thessalonians showed us what this looks like — they turned from their idols to serve the living God, and their lives proved it. As C.S. Lewis said, if you are on the wrong road, the most progressive thing you can do is turn around. It is not too late to turn.
