God has always been a healer -- not just in Bible times, but throughout every century of church history. From Justin Martyr in 165 AD to John Wesley in the 1700s, the miraculous power of God never stopped. Healing is not an end in itself, but as one theologian put it, "one more vital aspect of the total victory of Jesus Christ." In John 5, Jesus told a man who had been sick for 38 years to rise, take up his bed, and walk. He did not ask what the man could do -- He declared what he could do. That same word is speaking over you today. God wants you well. He healed Malchus, the man who came to arrest Him. How much more does He desire healing for you?
