The Price He Paid - Part 1

Apr 8, 2020  •  Pastor Sean McFarlane

In John 13-14, we see a Savior who, knowing full well He was about to die, got on His knees and washed the feet of the very men who would abandon Him — even Judas, who would betray Him. That is the price He paid. Jesus paid that price so we would never walk alone. As He promised in John 14, the Holy Spirit abides with us forever — not just in moments of spiritual feeling, but as a permanent, unshakable reality. No matter what surrounds you right now, you are not alone. His final words to His disciples were not words of fear — they were words of love, humility, and assurance. "Let not your heart be troubled" (John 14:1) is not a suggestion. It is a command we can actually obey, because He made a way.
