10:30 am Sunday Morning Worship – Pastor Sean McFarlane – The Anointing (Understanding And Operating In God’s Power)
We are continuing in our Sunday morning series entitled “The Anointing” (Understanding And Operating In God’s Power).
The Lord has not left us powerless in this life. He has provided supernatural ability for the individual believer and for the corporate body of Christ to grow spiritually and to fulfill the great commission. This power is referred to in the Scriptures as the anointing. The anointing is God’s power in and on our lives. Another way to say this, is the anointing is the operation of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
In this series we are going to look at different aspects of the anointing from the Scriptures. We are going to define what the anointing is. We are going to look at how the anointing operates in the earth, and we are going to look at how we as believers are to cooperate with the anointing. In addition to teaching from the Scriptures on the anointing we are also going to have demonstrations of the Holy Spirit. According to Scripture the idea of knowledge is not just information but also application. Church is the place learning so that when the Holy Spirit prompts you in the anointing to minister in your world you are ready and bold through knowledge to act.
Main Scriptures: Isa 10:27 It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil. NKJV
1 John 2:20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. NKJV

Who You say I am.
In this world there are a lot of lies from the devil about who and what you are.
We can look to the Bible to see the truth “ I am who God says I am, and God says I am found.”
If you have ever been lost while hiking, you missed the trail, or tried a new way down the mountain,
It is a great feeling when you find the trail head parking lot. Even if you are hours late. You’ve been found!
At one time we were far from God (LOST) but God made a way through Jesus . And now we are found (SAVED).
