Sunday Morning Worship:

10:30am Worship – Mastering The Silence with Rev. Doug Jones

We are in a spiritual battle and teaching on this vital truth is needed more now than ever in the Body of Christ.  As the church moves closer and closer to the rapture, the enemy is working diligently because he knows his time is short.  As believers we must understand and walk in these truths.  Victorious living begins with victorious thinking which is developed in the believer through the knowledge of God’s Word and its application in our daily lives.  Your mind is the primary target of your enemy, the devil.  Thoughts, ideas, and suggestions are the enemy’s main weapons.  God has given you the armor necessary to win the battles within your mind.

Make plans to be with us April 29th @ 7pm and April 30th @ 10:30am for these life empowering teaching sessions.  There will be child care provided on the 29th and our full Faith Kids ministries on the 30th.

Raised in a Christian home, Rev. Jones answered the call of God upon his life during the month of August 1974. As a twenty one-year-old young man he then traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he attended RHEMA Bible Training Center. After completing his studies he graduated May 1975 with the charter class. Rev. Jones was then offered a position with Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin’s crusade team through which he eventually became the director of crusades.

Since that small beginning Rev. Jones also has served as an Associate Pastor for two churches and the Senior Pastor for a congregation located near Tyler, Texas.

In the fall of 1981 Rev. Jones was invited to become a member of the teaching staff of RHEMA Bible Training Center of which he accepted. But it was not until 1989 that a significant event occurred that would alter this teacher of the Word’s life forever. He was assigned the responsibility of teaching a daily ‘Healing School’ session, an outreach of RHEMA to the physically sick.

From this simple assignment grew a hunger and passion for truth. It became apparent to Rev. Jones that if he was to be effective he must know the truth for himself. No longer was it permissible for him to merely pass on what others had taught him.

With a hunger for truth and simplicity Rev. Jones began his personal journey to know the truth in 1989. Compelled by the principle that if you are not asking questions – if you are not seeking answers – you are not moving forward. This hunger for truth has become what Rev. Jones is known for.

Faith Kids Ministries  – Pastor Herb Fuerst –

As we continue the series on Draw Near, we see it takes action to make things happen.

If we go fishing, we cast out bait to draw near the fish. Cheese and marshmallows were used this time.

When we play football, we try to move the ball closer to the goal line to score points.

We can draw near to God by reading the Bible, singing songs, and talking to Him (prayer).

Let’s spend time with Him and draw near!
