This week Pastor Josh Meeks will be continuing his teaching on the armor.
As we continue our studies in the Armor of God, let’s inspect our armor daily. Letting the Word renew our minds will help us stay protected from the enemy. Just having one piece positioned incorrectly will allow the enemy to wound us. Thankfully, we have the Holy Spirit who speaks to us and helps us to make these adjustments. Ephesians 6:16 NKJV says “Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one”. The words “above all” and “able to quench all” really stand out. Above all can be understood as most importantly. Faith is very important, so much that through it we are saved. It would make sense why the enemy tires to create so much doubt. Also are we really able to quench all? The short answer is yes. Through this study we can continue to build up our faith in Jesus and what he accomplished for us.
