Faith – Friends – Snacks
Teenagers, 6th – 12th grade, join us for youth group! Youth group is a place for you to come worship, be encouraged in the Word, eat snacks, and play games with friends who love Jesus too!
To fulfill a life in Christ we must grow in the Lord and learn about who we are in Him. Youth group is designed to help us accomplish this and teach us how we can stand strong in our relationship with Him and use what we know to share Christ with others.
Works vs Fruit – As a follower of Jesus, we must be yielding to the Spirit and not our flesh. In doing so The Holy Spirit within us will produce fruit. Yielding to our flesh will produce self-centered works. So, we must take a look at our own lives individually. Ask yourself the question: Am I producing works or am I producing fruit? Romans 8:13 NIV: For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live. The works of the flesh are dead, but the fruit of the Spirit is life!
