The Gift Of Righteousness – Part 6

One of the greatest benefits of receiving Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior is that we become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.  Salvation in Christ is the great exchange.  He took all our sin and unrighteousness, and we receive His perfection and righteousness.

Righteousness is one of those subjects in Scripture that is foundational to a successful Christian life.  In order to walk in all the fullness of what Christ has provided for us in salvation we must understand this subject.

The objective in this series of teachings is to:

•           Present a clear understanding as to what righteousness is.

•           To discover the need for it and how it is attained.

•           To build a righteousness consciousness in each of our lives.

•           To show how righteousness effects our lives with God, people, and the devil.

•           To reveal the fruits produced when we walk in our righteousness with God.

Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; NKJV.

The Gift Of Righteousness Part 6 – In his book “Two Kinds Of Righteousness” E.W. Kenyon said this, “Universal sin consciousness is the parent of all the religions of the earth.  Man has ever sought to rid himself of the sense of guilt and sin.  Sin consciousness was born at the fall.  It was manifested in Adam’s fear to meet God and his desire to cover his nakedness.”  So how is righteousness attained then, the answer is found in Romans 3:21, 22, where we discover the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ.
