Romans 12:2 gives us a clear command: do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. That transformation is not passive -- it takes discipline, faith, and a willingness to let go of the past. The harvest of conforming is destruction, but the harvest of transformation is life and life more abundantly.
