Jesus gave us a new commandment in John 13:34 -- to love one another as He has loved us. That kind of love is not passive. It is fervent, active, and powerful. Galatians 5:6 makes it clear that faith works through love. If you want your faith effective every single day, your love walk has to stay strong. That means forgiving those who have hurt you, guarding your words, and refusing to let your heart grow cold.
