The Gift Of Righteousness - Part 5

Part 5 – All of humanity is under the power of sin outside of Christ Jesus. In Romans chapters 1, 2, and 3 Paul by the Holy Spirit presents proof of the universal sin condition. Paul in Romans 3:9-20 recites a string of Biblical quotations taken mainly from the Psalms. This is the longs string of Old Testament quotes in the Pauline letters. On so crucial a point, on which the rest of Paul’s gospel message stands, Paul piles up biblical proof texts. If humanity does not understand their sinful state, they will not see the need for a Savior.
