Steps Of Faith - Part 10

Part 10 – Standing and Possessing faith describe a mature faith. This faith functions in the life of a believer who is fully committed to the will and purposes of God. Joshua and Caleb are great examples of this faith. In Exodus 3:7-10 we read where God communicated His desire to Moses concerning the Israelites. God told Moses that He was going to bring the Israelites into a land flowing with milk and honey. He also warned the Israelites that all the “ites” were there. We see in Numbers 13:27-33 a side-by-side comparison of “escaping and surviving” faith versus “standing and possessing” faith. 12 spies were sent into the promised land and 10 came back with a bad report while 2 gave a good report. In this passage Caleb gives us an example of “standing and possessing” faith. Let’s learn and purpose to walk in the same faith as Caleb.
