Are you carrying burdens that were never meant to be yours? This Sunday's message reminded us of a powerful truth from 1 Peter 5:7 - we're called to cast ALL our cares on Him, not just half, not just some, but every single one. Jesus didn't say "Let's go to the other side of the lake and drown halfway through." When He speaks a promise, He means it. Yet how often do we let worry choke out the Word like thorns in a garden? The disciples had Jesus' promise, but the storm made them forget. They accused Him of not caring - when He cared enough to die on a cross. Here's the challenge: God's words don't just need to be heard, they need to be HELD. When storms come, will you hold fast to His promise or let fear steal your faith?
