Ministering Spirits - Part 3

What do you do when a supernatural experience feels more real than the Word of God? There is a danger of letting spectacular experiences replace the foundation of God's Word. From Colossians 2:18 to Revelation 19:10, we saw that even the Apostle John fell at an angel's feet in worship and had to be corrected. If John could make that mistake, so can we. True angels of God always point worship back to the Lord, never to themselves. The anchor in any supernatural encounter is simple: take it back to the Word. Always. As Hebrews 1:14 reminds us, angels are ministering spirits sent to serve the heirs of salvation, not to be exalted above the One who sent them.
