Before The Foundation – The Parable Of The Talents Part 6
The Bible contains truths that bend our natural mind. It can be frustrating to think about the fact that Jesus was apart of the creation, in the beginning, He existed in eternity before He ever came to the earth as a man. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit have no beginning, they have always been and always will be. Jesus is the exact expression of God in the earth, there is no greater example. When Jesus walked the earth He would often teach people in parables, there is a passage of Scripture found in Matthew 13:34, 35 that says, “All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying:” “I will open My mouth in parables: I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world.” In this series, we will discover truths that have existed before time that will transform our present life as we apply them.
Part 6 – In today’s message we wrap up our discussion on the body. Our body is a miracle from God and it is designed to be a slave for righteousness. God’s desire is that we crucify the desires of the flesh and yield to the power of the Holy Spirit in us, as Colossians 3:10 states, “………and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.
