A Study In Biblical Prayer (Part 8 The Prayer of Praise and Worship)
Nothing can compare to the inner peace we can have as Christians when we walk in fellowship with God through prayer. The Bible promises that when we pray according to God’s will, He hears us. But many people pray in vain, because they don’t know what God’s will is. God’s Word is His will! Through this Bible Study we will learn what the Scriptures have to say about the subject of prayer.
Part 8 – In this message we will discuss the prayer of praise and worship. God made man so that He would have someone to fellowship with. Most of our praying is petition oriented, it is us making requests of God. This is not wrong we know that God desires to meet our needs and that He tells us in His Word to ask so we may receive. In this message we are going to look at another side to prayer which has to do with praise and worship. In Acts 13:1-4 we see that a number of believers got together and ministered to the Lord and fasted and then the Holy Spirit spoke to them. We need to take time and minister to the Lord, to wait on Him in praise and worship.
