Oh The Riches Of The Glory! (Part 4)
I have good news for you. You have an inheritance! Even better is that you will not be able to exhaust it. You can walk through a life drenched in liberality and not even come close to running out. Truthfully! You have a limitless abundance that allows you to triumph over every injustice of mankind, every enemy that raises their hand in opposition to you. This inheritance actually grows and multiplies as you use it. There is but one requirement that must be exacted, but with that requirement even then, the provision comes to fulfill it. The requirement is moral uprightness. To put it in the simplest terms one can understand is to say. “Be Good”. As the psalmist David wrote in Psalms 23:6 – “Surely (only) goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…” I invite you to come to study the “GOOD” life in Christ that our church holds to as one of our mission statements.
Part 4 – The Law, the commandments are not evil they are good because they come from God. Under the New Testament, we are under 2 main commandments, Matthew 22:37, 39 – “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and all your soul, and all your mind;” and the second is, “You shall love your neighbor as you love yourself.” Walking in the Lord’s commandments keeps us in the spirit and out of the flesh, this then keeps us in a place of doing the good works of God as a witness to the world around us.
