Oh The Riches Of The Glory! (Part 3)
I have good news for you. You have an inheritance! Even better is that you will not be able to exhaust it. You can walk through a life drenched in liberality and not even come close to running out. Truthfully! You have a limitless abundance that allows you to triumph over every injustice of mankind, every enemy that raises their hand in opposition to you. This inheritance actually grows and multiplies as you use it. There is but one requirement that must be exacted, but with that requirement even then, the provision comes to fulfill it. The requirement is moral uprightness. To put it in the simplest terms one can understand is to say. “Be Good”. As the psalmist David wrote in Psalms 23:6 – “Surely (only) goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…” I invite you to come to study the “GOOD” life in Christ that our church holds to as one of our mission statements.
Part 3 – According to Matthew 5:17-20 Jesus did not come to abolish the Law, He came to fulfill it. God is good, He is morally upright. He proved this in creation, in our new creation in Christ and in His law. In God’s goodness He leads us through His Word and by the Holy Spirit away from sin, not because He is a killjoy but because He knows sin always produces death and no joy! Enjoy as you grow in understanding the riches of the glory. God’s goodness puts order back into our lives.
